How can I get a quote?

For a quick convenient quote, an inquiry form for each service we offer is provided in the prominent spot at the head banner of respective web pages on our site, where you may select the key options and fill in your contact info so that we can timely follow up your needs.

How can I contact CCJK?

You can contact us either by, or by sending us a message through our website’s online contact system. When requesting a quote, please provide as much information as possible about your project and your valid contact info.

What information do you need to provide a quote? In order to determine the cost of your project, we need the required source and target languages, the services you need, your expected deadline and the source document(s) for translation. In the event that the document(s) is/are not available, we need an estimated or accurate word count if possible. Without the source file(s), we are not able to provide an accurate quote that accounts for all variables, such as file format, layout, repetitions, specialized terminology, etc.

How are your translations priced?

All translation charges are calculated on a per-word basis with the rate being determined by the language in question, the turnaround time and the nature of the subject matter. Standard rates are applied to most translations; however, a surcharge may be added to highly technical or industry-specific projects.

How can I get my translation done?

4 easy steps to get your translation:
1. Drop the source files.
You may upload the source files you wish to translate or directly paste the text into the textbox when submitting your translation inquiry; for more complex projects, you may attach the source files to the contact email and tell us your exact expectations.
2. Receive the quote.
In the shortest turnaround, we will send you back a detailed quote with no obligation attached but an estimated delivery time.
3. Project starts.
You may decide whether to award us the order, and once we get affirmative confirmation, the project will be initiated immediately.
4. Get the translation.
The translated document will be sent back to you after being edited by a second editor, whose sole mission is to ensure the language precision and clarity of the translation.

How can I get a free quote for Language Translation Services?

By clicking the Get Free Quote button at the head banner of the Language Translation page, an inquiry form will pop up and give all the options and necessary fields for the collecting of your basic translation needs.

You may choose to either upload the source file or directly paste the text you wish to translate for the price quote. To upload the source file, you may click on the Select Your Files button on the top-left of the form and select the file in the popped-open window. The file name as well as the uploading status will be shown instantly in the form, with the option link available on the right to remove the uploaded file. Multiple files uploading is supported and you may click on the Add More Files button in place of the original Select Your Files button to add more files from your computer. Supported file formats are DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, HTLM, HTM, ZIP, ODT, RAR, PPT, and PDF.

Alternatively, you may also paste the text you wish to translate and this is especially applicable when what you need to translate is short text. Choosing to paste the words directly, you may click on the link “Paste text directly” in dark blue just below the Select Your Files button and put the text in the text box that appears thereby. The text box can be dragged up to whatever size to suit your needs.

Languages you wish to translate from and into are very critical information for us to assess the translation difficulty and give a precise quote thereon. Therefore, it is really advisable that you indicate the source language and target languages of your translation. You may select the source language in the drop-down list and the target languages by double clicking the specific languages in the list. Multiple target languages are also supported and you may add whatever number of target languages as to your particular needs.

Three text fields are shown in the right of the inquiry form, with Name and Email being required ones so that we can establish the contact and communicate your translation needs and send the price quote. After you have checked up all the information, you may click the Get a Quote button to submit the translation service inquiry. Or you may click Reset to clear up your previously filled info and start over. For any problems occurred in completing the inquiry, you may contact us via any means at your convenience to report the problems and get the price quote you need.

How can I get a free quote for Website/Software/Mobile App Localization Services?

On the web page of website localization services, you can easily find the Free Quote button at the right of the head banner. Upon clicking it, an inquiry form will pop up providing options and text fields for the gathering of your basic requirements.
You may select the particular product you need to localize as the foremost step and the system can automatically distinguish the localization category and change the following options accordingly. And the more information you provide with us, the more we can know of your expectation and the more accurate the quotation can be.

For website localization, you may indicate to us the type of website you wish translate and the technology the site is built with. If the exact website URL can be provided, it does save us from a lot of troubles figuring out what the actual site might look like.

For software localization, we’d love it if you can specify the actual platform the program is run on and the technology it is built with. For mobile application localization, it is advisable that you indicate to us the mobile operating system the app belongs to and the specific technology it is built with. To better fathom the app’s features, we’d suggest you put the market URL of the app in the form.

Name and email address are required for making an inquiry on all three localization services and you may leave us a short message stating your further requirements and expectations.

How long will it take to have my project finished?

Turn-around time can vary based on workflow as well as on the complexity of the job itself, especially in the case of multilingual projects. When we make an estimate, we specify the turn-around time should the go-ahead be received within the day. If you have any question, please contact us to inquire.

Can I ask for further editing after the order is already concluded?

For complex formatting, will you be able to keep the same format for translated files?

Yes. Our translators translate directly into the source document and we are able to maintain the formatting and style of your document with the assistance of our desktop publishing specialists..

Who will translate my document?

We employ a combination of full-time and part-time professional native freelancers and graduates in linguistics.

Will you be using more than one translator to translate my document?

We typically only use one translator per source language to ensure consistency of style and terminology. However, if the document size and turn-around time require more than one translator, special measures are taken to use common glossaries, common databases, as well as the expertise of a translation coordinator, all to ensure consistency of the document.
