This article just make a summary of the questions usually used in interviews only on five basic hands such as interviewee’s Personal situation, Professional skills, Motivation and Expection,Ability and occupation plan, Interpersonal relationship and team cooperation, of course there may be many more hands through which we can know something about someone….Here i just posted as below.I also translated it into Japanese though there may be any mistake in these sentences.

Personal situation(個人情報)

1. Pls introduce yourself.自己紹介お願いします。

2. What is your greatest strength?最大の長所は何ですか。

3. What is your greatest weakness。最大の短所は何ですか。

4.Where do u come from?ご出身は何ですか。

5.What about your family?ご家族はどうですか。

6.How would your friends or colleagues describe you?(同僚と友達は貴方をどのように評価しますか。

Through these questions,we can generally understand their personal background, personality and so on and the first impression reflected on one’s self explanation is always generated in this stage .

Professional skills(個人技能)

1. What were your favorite classes? Why?一番好きな科目は何ですか。何故ですか。

2. Why is your GPA not higher?どうして貴方の成績はあまり高くないですか。

3. Why do you select __ as your major?何故これを専門にしますか。

4. What changes did you make at your college?在籍期間 どんな変化をしましたか。
5. How has your education prepared you for your career?貴方の学業はキャリアにどんな役割をしましたか。

These questions can help us to know if the interviewee have taken their study seriously and study hard。

Motivation and Expection(就職動機と希望)

1. What motivates you? 就職動機は何ですか。

2. What do you want to do with your life?最大の理想は何ですか。

3. When did you decide on this career?どんな時からこの職業を選択する事に決まりましたか。

4. What do you know about our company?弊社の事は知っていますか。

5. Why are you interested in our company?どうして弊社に興味がありますか。

6. Do you have any location preferences?就職の所には特別な要求がありますか。

7.Why did you choose this career?どうしてこの職業を選択しましたか。

8. How would you describe your ideal job?理想的な仕事にはどんな考えがありますか。

9. How much money do you need to make to be happy?/ What kind of salary are you looking for?希望給料はどのぐらいですか。

10.Why did you give up your last job you’ve held?どうして前の仕事をやめましたか。

Through these questions, we can know if they really have motivation working in our company and if their skill conforms to the requirements of the job, the development of the company ,and we can also see Whether our company’s conditions can meet them.

Ability and occupation plan(能力と職業企画)

1. Do you have any actual work experience? 社会経験とかありますか。

2. Are you a goal-oriented person?貴方は目標を向かって努力できるタイプですか。

3. What qualities do you feel a successful manager should have? 成功的なマネージャにとって どんな資格が必要ですか。

4. How do you evaluate success?貴方にとって 成功は何ですか。

5. Describe a situation in which you were successful.貴方の成功のケースを簡単に説明してくれますか。

6. If you had to live your life over again, what would you change?もし人生は再スタートできれば、どんな変化するつもりですか。

7. Where do you want to be ten years from now?/ What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?未来の十年 どんな計画がありますか。

8. Have you ever had a conflict with a boss or professor? How did you resolve it?ボース或は先生と喧嘩したことがありますか。もしあったら、どうしますか。

9. What major problem have you had to deal with recently?この間 貴方が処理した重要な問題は何ですか。

10.Do you handle pressure well?スドレス をちゃんと処理できますか。

11.How do you normally handle criticism?批判に対してどのように直面しますか?

In my opinion, ability and occupation plan are very important for us. If our present ability is not enough but we generally can not make a big success without a good occupation plan .Through these questions we can see their thoughts and generally evaluate if they can be hired….

Interpersonal relationship and team


1. Would your rather work with information or with people? 人とインフォメーション どっちと付き合う事が好きですか。

2.How do you handle your conflict with your colleagues in your work?

3. Are you a team player?チームワーク という精神を持っていますか。
This part is just for us to know if they are good at getting along with other people and whether they have spirit of coorperation or not.
