Introduction of Punjabi
Punjabi, spoken in Indian and Pakistan, is one of the languages which are easier to learn. There are two kinds of alphabets including Gurmukhī：ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, Shahmukhi：پنجابی. The intonation exists in Punjabi language with 3 tones in this language and it is the only one which has intonation in Indian languages, much the same as Chinese languages which has 4 tones. There are many different writing styles because of territory, religion, politics and some other reasons. While Gurmukhī and Shahmukhi are the alphabet which are common used widely.
As to the intonation, there are three types: high, middle and low tone. Some words are high-low tone and low-high orders. For example: the English word “Horse” has high-low tone: ghoṛā [kòːɽɑ̀ː]“horse” and the “October” is the opposite māgh [mɑ́ːɡ]“October”
