There are main three roblems at the linguistic level: lexical mistakes, grammatical mistakes, syntactical mistakes.

And four problems at the cultural level: empty talks, honorable titles and awards, excessive degree of formality, untranslatability of Chinese culture-specific terms.

Basicly three problems at the translation tactical level: Word-for-word translation mistakes, Mistranslation, Undertranslation and overloaded translation.

On top of the elements mentioned above, skopos study points out that translators still need to take into consideration below factors as the initiator of the source text, who determines the purpose of the translation and also the style; the target receiver, who plays a key role in the translation action.

Attention ought to be focused on target readers’ expectations: their values, thinking patterns and cultures. It is necessary for translators to convey the intention of the sender and achieve the same function between the source and target text eventually.

In addition, translators are not only obliged to accumulate fundamental English knowledge as well as acquainting themselves with cultural differences between Chinese and English, but also obliged to comprehensively and tactfully adopt diversified translation strategies depending on specific contexts.
